Glyfada to Aegina, Agkistri, Perdika
Aegina is located in the center of the Saronic Gulf, is the second largest island, and is near Agkistri, Methana, Troizina, Poros and the coasts of mainland Attica. This island has some plains and low hills, while its climate is Mediterranean and dry. Notable sights of the island include the Temple of Aphaia, Paleochora, the Tower of Markellos, etc. The most famous beaches of the island include Marathonas, Agia Marina, Perdika and Souvala, which can be easily accessed by sea.
While sailing in Aegina, one may also visit Agkistri, which is the largest of the cluster of small islands located between Aegina and Epidaurus in the Peloponnese. On the island of Agkistri there is a plethora of beautiful beaches, such as Skala on the northeast side of the island, the sandy beach of the settlement of Megalochori, Aponisos located on the west side of the island, etc., which can be visited for swimming either in the morning or the afternoon.
The picturesque fishing village of Perdika is located at the southern end of the island of Aegina and is a known tourist seaside destination. The sheltered and natural port of Perdika attracts many boats, as being built on a hill it offers visitors a wonderful view of the endless blue and the green island of Moni, which is only 3 nautical miles away. The beaches of Perdika, Klima, Sarpa, etc. are ideal for visiting by sea, as they are very special holiday settlements.
You can start your day with swimming and snorkeling in the clear blue waters of Agkistri and/or with a walk in the beautiful city of Aegina. For fresh seafood we will visit the fishing village of Perdika, which adorns the south side of Aegina.
